High School

The High School Youth Ministry (HSYM) is a group of 9th-12th grade teens from various school districts, parishioners and non-parishioners, Catholics and non-Catholics, who come together to share a common faith through fellowship, learning, and service.

Volunteers are needed for all aspects of the program.

Certain Events are available to High School teens only. In the 2019-2020 year, these include:

  • March for Life - January 23 & 24, 2020
    • We will join with High School teens throughout the Diocese to protest the legalization of abortion and promote a culture of life in our country
  • Winter Retreat - February 21-23, 2020
    • We will attend a Diocesan sponsored retreat to deepen our faith, grow in a faith community of like-minded peers, and remove ourselves from the stress and pressure we may experience at school or in our society
  • Mission Trip - July 12-18, 2020
    • We will participate in a service trip to Frenchville, PA, along with our partner parish. There, we will live in solidarity with the poor, assist with the needs of those in the local community through various projects, and spend time in prayer and reflection to understand how serving others is connected to our life of faith.
